JOINING HOLIBOB
WORKING AT HOLIBOB
COMPANY CULTURE
I joined Holibob in April 2021 as a Finance Assistant. It marked an exciting starting point for me, and I was eager to gainhands-on experience in finance. In this role, my responsibilities primarily focused on day-to-day financial operations.
I was promoted to the role of Finance Associate in early 2023. This transition brought added responsibilities, including taking the lead on the treasury function.
Throughout my journey, I've embraced changes and challenges, such as adapting to the various tools that Holibob uses.
It is the constant growth and development. I learn new things in every project, whether they are large or small.
One of my favourite aspects is the Holibob office day, where I can catch up with colleagues in person. It's a day when all the Teams calls turn into in-person meetings, and I still feel energised at the end of the day.
What I enjoy most about the company culture at Holibob is the strong emphasis on authenticity, and one key aspect of this is vulnerability. In many organisations, vulnerability can be perceived as a weakness, but here, it's embraced as a source of strength.
Being part of a culture that values vulnerability has had a profound impact on me. When I first joined Holibob as a fresh graduate, I found that it provides a supportive and nurturing environment for personal and professional development. More importantly, it values transparency and the willingness to admit when I don't have all the answers.
After giving them a chance to catch their breath after ITB Berlin 2024 last week, we caught up with our team to get their thoughts on the discussions and trends that defined this year's event.
Holibob is happy to announce that our co-founders, Craig Everett and Angus Hardy, have been selected for the Hurun UK Under30s Young Entrepreneurs to Watch list.
